Terms of Service

1. Service description

PegCast · Peg Forecast is a free, ad-supported UK tool that shows a laundry drying index (0–100) based on live weather data, helps you plan wash days with calendar reminders, includes a stain-removal guide for 24 common stains, and provides a reference of 36 care symbols (ISO 3758). No account is required. Weather data is provided by WeatherAPI.com and used with required attribution.

2. Disclaimer

• Weather forecasts may be inaccurate. Always use your own judgement before hanging laundry outside.
• Care symbols are a reference guide only — always check the actual care label on your garment. Manufacturers may add extra instructions.
• Stain-removal advice is general guidance — always test any treatment on a hidden area first and follow the garment's care label.
• Nothing on this site is professional, financial or legal advice.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: scrape, bulk-copy or resell the site or its data; use bots or automated tools to overload the service; attempt to access restricted areas; or use the site unlawfully. The ISO 3758 care symbols themselves are not copyrightable; our original explanations and code are protected.

4. Intellectual property

All original content, design and code on PegCast is our property. Weather data remains the property of WeatherAPI.com and is used under their terms, with attribution.

5. Advertising

We display ads through Google AdSense. Ads are separate from our content and we do not endorse advertised products. Advertising cookies are only set with your consent (see our Cookie Policy).

6. External links

We link to third-party sites (WeatherAPI.com, Google Calendar, opt-out platforms). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

7. Limitation of liability

The service is provided free of charge "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to £0. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other mandatory UK consumer protection law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Where you are a consumer, mandatory UK consumer protection laws take precedence.

9. Changes & contact
